In loving memory ~
Carolyn Mary (Korycki) Mlieczko passed away peacefully in the arms of her Lord on January, 14, 2022 at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband Louis, daughters Emily and Sylvia (Ron), grandchildren Erick (Zara), Alexander (Amanda), Alyssa, James (Melissa), great-granddaughters Harmony and Penelope, and siblings Patricia (Cully), Valerie (Joe), Jim (Connie), Jack (Tina), and Chris (Deanette), and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was born April 30, 1949 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Walter and Emily. She is predeceased by both her parents and siblings, Sylvester, Jeannette, and Robert.
After she met and married Louis they settled in British Columbia. They started their new life in New Westminster, raised their children in 100 Mile House, and retired in Abbotsford. She loved and appreciated the beauty of the province from the majestic mountains, rolling hills of the Cariboo, and the ocean along the coast line.
As a devote Catholic her belief in God's love and grace was evident in how she lived her life.
Everywhere she went she developed a strong community of friends. Carolyn will be remember for many things. Her acceptance for all people, advocacy for the Canadian Mental Health Association, cooking, baking, and planting beautiful flower gardens are among the few. She was admired by her family, friends, clients, and co-workers.
Prayer service will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 5:00 pm and the funeral service held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. James Church located 2777 Townline Road, Abbotsford, BC.
