We have lost a wonderful person. Trudi was born in Manitoba and at a young age, along with her family, moved to the Lower Mainland of BC.
Following her school years, she worked at several locations up to and including the Surrey Municipality after which time she was hired by the Provincial Justice System as a clerk of the court. Over a period of several years she moved up to becoming a Justice of the Peace and on to being appointed a Court Referee.
Medical Circumstances cut short that career at which time she and husband David retired to Abbotsford and from there to Osoyoos for number of years.
While in Osoyoos Trudi became active with the Seniors' Center including serving on the board and teaching line dancing. She and David also became involved with the SOAICL Sponsored Osoyoos Flea Market. Again Cancer reared its ugly head so it was back to Abbotsford for better medical care.
Trudi was predeceased by son Tom and daughter Maureen as well as sister Sharon.
She is survived by husband of 53 years - (David) - Sister Carol (Art), brother Reg - step daughters Mona (Phil) and Brenda (Rex) as well as many nephews and nieces.
