WITALA, Arvid Victor. Arvid fell asleep in peace the morning of Nov. 8, 2013 in his 94th year. He was born Aug. 23, 1919 in Mara, BC. Predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Erma, in 2010. He will be missed by his children Karin (Darrell) Valair, Lorne (Brenda) Witala, Myrna Lardeur and Deborah (Antoni) Witala - Michaud, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Arvid was a World War II Veteran and served overseas. As a young adult he played organized hockey; was a hunter, fisherman, golfer, and curler. Arvid was a salesman for Kelly Douglas until his retirement. The family would like to thank MSA MANOR in Abbotsford for the loving care you gave Dad while he was with you.
