Arden Weatherby

Mr. Arden Weatherby late of Abbotsford, BC passed away at home on November 13, 2018 at the age of 84 years.

Arden is survived by his sons Bob and Dan (Terri-Lynn), daughter Bonnie (Allan) Graff, and son Steve (Vickie), also his brothers Jim (Pat) and  Herb (Norma), and sisters Leila (Keith) Sim and Pat Rinke. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Arden was predeceased by his loving wife Louise (2002), mother Myrtle (1985),  father Roy (2003), and his sister Phyllis Hamberg (2018).

Arden was born and raised in Abbotsford (Matsqui) and lived his entire life in the area that was homesteaded by his grandparents & parents, the Larsons & Weatherbys. He was active and hard working right to the end. His work career in the Construction Industry sometimes took him away from home for short times but his heart was at home with his family. He was a man of few words but had high morals, integrity and character.  He was kind, generous, honest and unselfish.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Tea Room of Henderson's Funeral Home (entrance on lower level), 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favourite charity would be greatly appreciated.
