On October 19, 2017, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord at Menno Home in Abbotsford, BC.
Anne was predeceased by her first husband Jacob in 1975 and found love again when she met and married Edward Peters. Anne and Jacob were married for thirty-three years and Anne and Edward lived to celebrate thirty-five years of marriage. They shared many happy years together.
Anne was also predeceased by her older sister, Nettie, her three brothers George, Dietrich and John. And in her immediate family, her son Don and grandson, Scott and granddaughter Naomi.
She is loved and survived by her son Len and his partner Linda, from Cranbrook, her daughter Dorothy Funk of Abbotsford, her son Norman and wife, Sharon Peters of Vernon, BC.
She was loved and cherished by her eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Anne and Ed enjoyed many years of travel and socializing with family and friends. In 2005 they decided to move to Menno Terrace East, a senior retirement home where Anne was instrumental in starting a Music Night every Saturday for the residents who lived there.
She was loved and respected by so many people who always enjoyed her programs of songs, poems and readings. Her faith in God was always present.
She loved and appreciated the staff at Menno Home for the constant care given to her and Ed.
The family also thanks the staff of Menno Home for their kindness and caring spirit which was always evident. They all loved Anne.
