Anne Dyck

Anne Dyck, 93, passed away peacefully at Menno Home in Abbotsford, BC on the morning of May 25,2023. Anne was born in Hague, Saskatchewan on February 28, 1930.
It was in Saskatoon where she met Frank Dyck and they married on March 3,1951. As Frank worked at CIBC, they were frequently transferred.
They had three daughters (Carol, Janet, and Barbara) and later a son (Robert) who died at birth in Winnipeg, a somber time for the Dyck household.
Anne was creative. Providing hospitality to visitors, sewing, reupholstering furniture and renovating homes. Later, oil painting was an outlet for her artistic gifts. These talents benefited those she came in contact with.
Anne was predeceased by 10 sisters and brothers and 3 stepsisters.
She is survived by husband Frank, daughters Carol (Ted) Wiebe, Barbara (Karl) Pearson, and Janet (Walter) Bergen, and son (Robert). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held June 29, 2023 at 2pm at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, 3471 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford
