MARTIN Abram. It is with sadness and thanksgiving that the family of Abe Martin announce the passing of our dad on Saturday, February 16, 2013. He is now with the Lord ~ free from pain, pressures and cares. Abe was born December 1, 1923 at Roland, Manitoba. He was the son of David and Katherine (Letkeman) Martens. In 1948 Abe and Elizabeth (Wiebe) were married in MacGregor, Manitoba. They moved to the Abbotsford area in 1957. Abe's main occupation was construction (framing and finishing). Dad was an active member of the Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene for 50 years until his death. Abe is predeceased by his parents and his eleven siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Betty) of 64 years; their children, Katherine (David) MacMillan, Reginald (Dorothy) Martin and Josie (Barrie) Mitchell. There are seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial service for Abe Martin is tentatively set for Thursday, February 21st at the Church of Nazarene, 2390 McMillan Road.
