A-MUI LUU. November 11, 1945 ~ August 23, 2014.
Mui Luu passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 23, 2014 at the age of 68. She is forever loved and will be dearly missed byher husband of 47 years, Kieu; their six children, Lynn (Peter) Algra, Laura, Nicole (Jon) Oliveros, Ann (Mike) Rumsby, Helen (Scott Cashol) and Tim (Rachel) Luu; thier grandchildren Jarod, Ethan, Sophia, Hannah, Sarah, Adrien, Amelia; and many relatives and friends. Mui will be remembered for her strength of spirit, her sense of adventure, her zest for life, her radiant smile, and her devotion to family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. William Chan, Dr. Robert Winston, Pharmacist John Leung, and the Chemo Room Nurses and Palliative Care staff at the Abbotsford Hospital and Cancer Centre for their excellent and compassionate care. Service will be held at Avalon Surrey Funeral Home, 13288 108 Avenue, Surrey, BC on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10:00 am. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 9:50 am. Interment will follow the service at Valley View Memorial Gardens at 14644 72nd Ave., Surrey, BC V3S 2E7.
