Abbotsford residents are encouraged to pick litter up around the city next month during Community Clean-Up Week.

Last year, 1041 residents participated in the Community Clean-Up program. These participants included local residents, community groups, organizations and local schools. Classes from multiple local schools contribute to beautifying their city.

The initiative gives teachers a great way to provide classes with hands-on, real world learning opportunities for students. Participating classes will have their names entered into a draw for a gift card, courtesy of the Teachers’ Learning Store.

The City of Abbotsford would like to challenge residents to get involved in Community Clean-up Week, which runs this year from from April 17-23, 2017.

To get involved, register here by April 10, 2017.
