Ron Sweeney Sr. and Ron Price were named Abbotsford’s Citizens of the Year during Canada Day celebrations on Sunday.

The two were selected from the five Order of Abbotsford recipients named last week. These honorees also included Bill Andrews, Roy Morice abd Bob Singleton.

The city traditionally names one person as Citizen of the Year, but Mayor Bruce Banman said the high calibre of candidates this year made it a challenge to choose just one.
