Two men attacked with crowbar and possibly an axe

Two men, including one from Abbotsford, suffered injuries in an altercation in Mission that may have involved an axe and a crowbar.

Mission RCMP were called at about midnight on Wednesday to the 33800 block of Dlugosh Avenue for a report of a possible stabbing.

Police located a 25-year-old Abbotsford man and a 33-year-old Mission man both suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The two men had been involved in an altercation and were assaulted by several suspects with a crowbar and possibly an axe, police say.

They say the suspects and victims in this incident were known to each other. Investigators are seeking any witnesses who might have seen the altercation.
