Grammy Award-winning artist TobyMac wowed crowds in Abbotsford on Friday, breaking the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) attendance records.
His third time in Abbotsford, TobyMac said "it's always one of the best stops on the tours."
The Hits Deep Tour showcased some of the best-loved songs performed by TobyMac and some of the biggest and brightest artists in Christian music – Matthew West, Brandon Heath, Mandisa, Matt Maher and newcomers Capital Kings.
TobyMac was first known for being a member of the Christian vocal trio DC Talk, with whom he performed from 1987 to 2000.
He has since launched a successful solo career and has released five studio albums, including Tonight (2010) and Eye on It (2012), which had a No. 1 debut on Billboard's Top 200 chart.
That album also received a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2013.
Five of his singles have gone to No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Songs chart, tying him with Third Day for fourth on the list of artists with the most No. 1 hits on that chart.
