Abbotsford Police have received several tips on the identity of a thief who robbed a seniors’ complex on July 3.
Police circulated a still image from video captured of the suspect in the underground parking garage of the complex in the 2000 block of Primrose Street. The robber broke into two storage lockers and stole two TVs from the site’s wellness centre.
Const. Ian MacDonald said three of the tips were strong, including from a person who said he knew the suspect. Another person said he had come across the individual while he was trying to sell the stolen items to another person, while a third said he saw the suspect parked in a vehicle with TVs in it.
