A semi truck had a car pinned on the concrete barrier on the shoulder of Highway 1 in the eastbound lanes just east of Sumas Way Friday afternoon.
The crash left significant congestion in its wake, as crews worked to dislodge the car from between the truck and the barrier at around 3 p.m.
It’s unclear if any injuries were sustained in the crash, but the driver of the car was not in the car when it was eventually dislodged.
