As Remembrance Day approaches, schools around Abbotsford have been holding their own ceremonies.
Friday at Prince Charles elementary school, students read poems, including In Flanders Fields, learned about Canada's wars and the need for peace, and heard from speaker Cyril Holbrow, a Second World War veteran who spoke of D-Day and the price paid by Canada's soldiers.
