2020 hasn’t been completely terrible, and the 2021 Robert Bateman Secondary School grad class improved the beleaguered year by starting a new tradition - the Paint the Parking Lot project.
Earlier this month, stalls in the school’s parking lot were sold for $100 and grads were allowed to use their creative genius to add some artistic flare to the concrete lot.
Proceeds from the event will go towards other RBSS families facing financial hardship during the holiday season.
School officials thanked organizers Ms. Lillie, Mrs. Kufske, the 2021 RBSS Grad Class and the RBSS Leadership class for making it all come together.
