The Queensborough Bridge now has both lanes open northbound, and one southbound, following an early morning electrical fire.
The Queensborough Bridge is now open (two lanes northbound, one lane southbound). Pedestrian access is available on the east side.

The Queensborough Bridge was shut down hours on Wednesday, following the fire which broke out around 4 a.m.
New Westminster Mayor Jonathan Cote confirmed that power is expected to be restored to the area by midnight.
New Westminster is the only municipality in Metro Vancouver where the electricity is not run by BC Hydro.
