Preliminary inquiry set for Abbotsford man accused of killing sister

A preliminary inquiry is set to begin Jan. 20, 2012 for Harmohinder Khosa, who has been charged with the second-degree murder of his sister, Amarjit Khosa, 34.

A preliminary inquiry is set to begin Jan. 20, 2012 for Harmohinder Khosa, who has been charged with the second-degree murder of his sister, Amarjit Khosa, 34.

A trial date has not yet been scheduled for the 41-year-old accused, who appeared Thursday in Abbotsford provincial court for an arraignment hearing.

Khosa, who has been in custody since his arrest in early March, was released on bail last week.

Amarjit was found dead in a basement suite at 32153 Austin Ave. on July 21. Police have not released the cause of death.
