The Abbotsford Police are giving away anti-theft devices to drivers of pre-2002 Dodge trucks on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Abbotsford Police are giving away anti-theft devices to drivers of pre-2002 Dodge trucks on a first-come, first-served basis.

The devices are available at the community police office at 34194 Marshall Rd. as part of the Operation Lock-Up program, which began in March.

At that time, the devices were handed out to the owners of the Abbotsford’s three most-stolen cars – pre-2001 Honda Accords, Honda Civics and Jeep Cherokees. Now, Dodge trucks manufactured before 2002 have been added to the list. Drivers must show their licence and registration.
