A group of Abbotsford citizens are trying to get the City of Abbotsford to honour slain police officer Const. John Davidson in a unique way.
A petition has been circulating asking Abbotsford city council to change the name of Automall Drive to John Davidson Way.

The Abbotsford Police Department is also encouraging the public to put blue ribbons out in Davidson’s memory.
The APD received a donation of rolls of blue ribbon earlier today, and do have extra ribbon available at the headquarters for the public to use.
Today rolls of blue ribbon were donated so #abbypd are hoping to start a trend to remember our hero. Please put a blue bow out to remember our fallen brother Cst. Davidson. We have extra ribbon. #abbypdstrong #hero #heroribbon #bowtoremember pic.twitter.com/rkDAcrupvv— Deputy Mike Serr (@DeputySerrAPD) November 10, 2017
