No serious injuries after car hits light pole on Gladwin Road

Vehicle hit light pole, median fence around 11 a.m. Thursday in central Abbotsford

There were no serious injuries after a car hit a fence in the median of Gladwin Road, then a light stanchion on the sidewalk around 11 a.m. Thursday.

A silver sedan hit the fence separating the road’s north and southbound lanes just south of South Fraser Way, before directly hitting a nearby light pole.

Fire crews, police and paramedics were all called to the scene. But police say there were no serious injuries.
