The City of Abbotsford has released a new conceptual drawing for the proposed redevelopment of Jubilee Park, along with two potential Mill Lake locations for the relocated lawn bowling club.

The city released a request for proposals last month for the $1.8 million project, which it hopes to have completed next spring.

A conceptual drawing by an architectural firm recently added to the RFP shows several new proposed additions to the park, including a parkour court, an obstacle park, and a fitness park. There are also two separate stages envisioned at the site, along with a patio in front of the old Centennial Building. See the full image below.

The city has also added two new proposed sites for the Jubilee Park Lawn Bowling Club, which will move to Mill Lake Park as part of the redevelopment.

One site is off of Adanac Avenue, near the horseshoe pits. The other is off of Ware Street, just to the east of Kariton Gallery. See locations below.
