A power outage that affected a large portion of West Abbotsford Friday afternoon was due to equipment failure, according to BC Hydro.
The power went out at 1:30 p.m. and was restored at 4:52 p.m.The number of people affected changed throughout the day but is now listed as 2,395 customers.
The Abbotsford News was among the businesses affected by the power outage.
