The Mighty Fraser Pro Rodeo captured audiences with a world-class rodeo clown, an experienced rodeo announcer and Graham Wardle of CBC’s Heartland.

JJ Harrison, this year’s rodeo clown, is one of the world’s best and was recently the official clown of the Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The rodeo featured Al Parsons as announcer, an entertaining former-professional cowboy.

Competitors showed their skills in bull riding, saddle bronc, barrel racing, steer wrestling, calf roping and more.

Wardle agreed to appear at Abbotsford Agrifair to raise funds for the flood response in High River, AB, where the CBC drama is filmed.

Wardle will be available to meet fans on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the 4-H barn, and then again from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m at the entrance to the rodeo.
