A new franchise that claims to offer some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the country is coming soon to Abbotsford’s Highstreet Shopping Centre.
Signage for Meltwich Food Co. has already been posted at Unit D105 of the outdoor shopping mall.
Meltwich is a Canadian brand that originated in 2015 and now has locations in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. The Abbotsford restaurant will be the third in B.C., joining locations in Surrey and Kelowna.
The menu offers a number of different grilled cheese options, as well as burgers, cheese steak sandwiches, poutine and vegan choices.
An opening date for the location has not yet been revealed.
