The Marshalls store at Abbotsford's new Highstreet shopping complex celebrates its grand opening on Thursday, May 23 at 9 a.m.
The store is one of 13 locations that will open across Canada this year, and is the second in B.C., following the one in Vancouver that was unveiled on April 4.
Marshalls sells fashions, accessories and footwear. As of August of this year, it will expand to include home decor.
To mark the opening of the Abbotsford store, Marshalls will donate $5,000 to Kids Help Phone, which provides free confidential phone and web counseling to youth 20 years and younger.
Highstreet is located at Mt. Lehman Road and Highway 1 in Abbotsford.
Already opened at the complex is the Walmart SuperCentre, and scheduled to open next week are Bouclair Home (May 28) and London Drugs (May 31).
