Freezing rain accumulated on the netting around Fraserglen Golf Course's driving range on Thursday, turning them into sails which brought down the thick support poles when the wind picked up.
Manager Dave Allan vowed to rebuild the structures as soon as possible, but said it could take two months or longer.
Luckily the netting was covered by insurance.
Dave's wife Corinne Allan, the golf course's general manager said the regular golf course will reopen as soon as possible.
