Wesley Foulds of Abbotsford has been missing since March 2009.

The family of an Abbotsford man who has been missing for five years will hold a vigil this Saturday.

The vigil for Wesley Craig Foulds takes place Saturday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hayward Lake recreation area north of Mission.

That area was where Foulds' red 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck (pictured below) was found after he disappeared on March 4, 2009 at the age of 54.

He had left his Abbotsford home that morning for a doctor's appointment in Burnaby, but never showed up for that appointment – or for work later that day – and hasn't been heard from or seen since.

Abbotsford Police have had no new leads that have led to answers about Foulds' disappearance.

Const. Ian MacDonald said it is hoped that someone will remember something about Foulds or his truck and will have current information that could aid the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225, text 222973 (abbypd) or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
