David Hull, executive director of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce has resigned.
The move came after the chamber’s board of directors, on June 23, requested, received and accepted the resignation.
“Hull was suspended with pay on June 3, 2011 pending an inquiry by the board,” said Patrick Giesbrecht, chamber president.
“I am unable to comment further on the circumstances surrounding Hull’s resignation at this time.”
Hull has been with the chamber for the past six years. No replacement has been named.
“The Abbotsford Chamber is continuing in its commitment to move forward with our mission to represent, serve and connect present and future members to build and sustain a thriving business community,” said Giesbrecht.
