A cyclist was taken to hospital in serious condition last night (Thursday) after being struck by a vehicle in Abbotsford.
The collision took place at about 7:30 p.m. in the intersection of South Fraser Way and Sumas Way.
The driver remained at the scene and is co-operating with police.
Several witnesses indicated that the driver of the minivan had the green light and the cyclist was crossing on a red light.
