A “Celebration of Mark Taylor” will take place at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) on April 15 from 3-5 p.m.
The event is open to the public.
Taylor was Abbotsford’s general manager of parks, recreation and culture and had been with the city for two decades.
He passed away last month after falling into a crevasse while on a skiing trip at the Wapta Traverse, located northeast of Golden on the B.C.-Alberta border.
The Taylor family has expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation for the outpouring of support they have received.
