An Abbotsford cat burglar has been sentenced to 50 days in jail and 18 months’ probation.
Beau Burgessihota, 20, was sentenced on Jan. 16 in Abbotsford provincial court for a home break-in on Nov. 1 in Abbotsford and for uttering threats.
Burgessihota and a young offender, who cannot be named due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were arrested and charged after police executed two search warrants on Nov. 5 and 6 and turned up property stolen from a cat burglary.
Police had also been investigating four home break-ins that took place in September, but Burgessihota and the young offender were not charged with any of them.
