The Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre was rocking on Monday night, at least for the first period.
Close to 2,000 fans came out to watch game three of the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the the Vancouver Canucks took on the Boston Bruins on the large video screen hanging over centre ice.
After an exciting first period, the Bruins quieted the local crowd, eventually winning the game 8-1.
The AE&SC is planning to host viewings of both games six and seven (if needed). Games four and five cannot be viewed at the centre due to the UFV convocation ceremonies.
