Customers at the Great Canadian Oil Change on South Fraser Way got a close up view of how bees live.
A swarm of bees made a temporary home on a tree in the parking lot on Thursday morning.
At about 11 a.m. a cloud of bees arrived in the area and quickly scouted for a suitable location. The bees choice a tree and began to create a temporary hive.
Staff at the oil change said the bees calmed down quickly, and have not bothered customers or passers-by.
A bee handler has been called in and is expected to safely remove the bees and relocated them by the end of the day.
