Gordon Ferguson, manager of bylaw enforcement, has left his position at city hall.

His departure comes only weeks after general manager of finance Pat Soanes, and general manager of economic development Jay Teichroeb left their jobs. At that time, city manager George Murray declined to comment on their departures, whether severance will be paid, and whether they left voluntarily.

In June, the city also announced the elimination of 10 positions at city hall, including nine managerial positions and one union job, as part of a “new organizational structure,” which Murray said will save the city about $1.25 million per year.

The city has declined to say what will be paid to the departing managers in severance, compensation or other costs.

In 2012, Teichroeb was the third highest paid staff member at city hall, making $205,669 that year. Soanes recieved $185,809 last year, and Ferguson was paid $106,119.
