A multi-vehicle crash reportedly involving as three vehicles on Highway 1 just before the Bradner rest stop jammed up westbound morning traffic Monday.
The accident occurred at about 8 a.m., with police, ambulance and firefighters responding to the scene.
One eyewitness told The News they saw a minivan swerve and hit the side cement barrier.
It took more than an hour before traffic congestion began to ease.
There was a report of another accident on Highway 1 near Clearbrook later in the morning that added to the backups.
