The Rotary Club of Abbotsford wrapped up its 12th annual Million Dollar Hole in One event on Sunday morning at the Fraserglen Golf Course.

The winner was Wayne Kleisinger, who came 20 feet from the pin on a sweet stroke from 160 yards, but didn’t win the big cash prize. He did win a couple of free meals – a dinner for up to eight at Earls, lunch for him and his wife with Mayor Bruce Banman, and other prizes.

Second was Dave Blanchard at 44 feet, and third was Brodie Williams at 60 feet.

The event raised an estimated $35,000 this year which will go toward the new Campus of Care hospice facilities. Rotary organizers estimate the event has earned $350,000 over its 12-year run.
