Abbotsford police seek driver in pedestrian hit and run

Abbotsford police are asking the public for help in finding a man involved in a Wednesday evening hit and run pedestrian collision.

A 29-year-old man was hit by a "dark blue, newer sedan" at Marshall Road and McCallum Road around 7:40 p.m., according to police.

The driver has been described as “an older South Asian male.”

The driver briefly pulled over facing westbound on Marshall Road and got out of his car but then got back in and drove away, according to witnesses.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Abbotsford police are looking for information about this driver and the vehicle involved.
