Clayburn Village incident occurred on Saturday night, suspect found carrying knife

A 63-year-old man was arrested on Saturday night after sideswiping a vehicle in the Clayburn Village area.

The man, who was driving a grey SUV, was followed by a witness after the incident into the Laburnum area and the suspect was unable to exit a cul-de-sac.

The drive then fled on foot and was carrying a 10-inch knife. Abbotsford Police responded on scene and arrested the man. He was in police custody on Saturday night.
