Ranjit Gill of Abbotsford is relaxing after winning $500,000 by playing the Extra in the Jan. 6th Lotto Max draw.
“I always stress about taking time off work even for appointments,” Gill said. “Life just feels more relaxed, better and easier now!”
Gill said he will set aside some money to help his children with their education. He also plans to do charitable work in India.
“I want to go to India and help out there,” he said. “I love sports so I think I will build a playground there.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Superstop Petro-Canada on Townline Road in Abbotsford.
Gill won his prize by matching all four numbers – 20, 26, 66 and 69 – on the Extra.
