Large presence of police and fire personnel at home on Marshall Road near Everett

Investigators have been on scene all day at an Abbotsford home that is suspected of  being a drug-manufacturing site.

The home is located on Marshall Road near Everett Road.

Numerous investigators were still on scene on Sunday evening. They include members of the RCMP clandestine drug lab team, the RCMP forensic identification unit, the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service’s hazmat team, and the Abbotsford Police Department’s drug squad.

Investigators have been seen coming in and out of the basement of the home, and they have set up tables in the garage to place evidence taken from the residence.

Police have released few details at this time, including the types of drugs suspected of being manufactured in the home.

They say they will not be releasing any further details this evening.

Watch for more details as they become available.
