As the festive season approaches, Abbotsford’s Sevenoaks Shopping Centre transforms into a hub of holiday cheer and excitement. With several events, promotions and unique shopping experiences, the centre is set to make this holiday season unforgettable for everyone.
Santa is back!
The Centre Court at Sevenoaks welcomes Santa Claus right through Dec. 24. “Santa is back, including the famous Santa Keith!” says Sevenoaks’ marketing manager Tessa Heath.
This year, the centre introduces a brand new Santa’s Village in Centre Court. Visitors can book their time slots online to skip the lineup, a unique feature that ensures everyone gets a chance to meet Santa.
For 15 years, the Trees of Hope event has been a highlight of Sevenoaks Shopping Centre’s holiday season, with local businesses decorating Christmas trees, supporting the Abbostford Police Foundation. “We have 13 trees this year, and people can vote for their favourite,” Heath adds. By casting a vote, participants also get a chance to win a $250 Sevenoaks Shopping card.

To accommodate the holiday rush, Sevenoaks Shopping Centre extends its hours until 9 p.m. on weekends, with extended hours nightly from Dec. 19 to 23.
Unique shopping experience and new retailers
Sevenoaks Shopping Centre offers a cozy and memorable shopping experienc . With the recent addition of three new stores, Dollarama, Merdian farm market and Pet Land, Sevenoaks can be a one-stop destination for all your holiday needs.
“We’re looking to expand the retail experience by adding experiential and fun activities in the mall” Heath says.
For children, a temporary mini escape room has opened up, there are claw machines at the anime store Outbound, and a newly opened kids play place.
