The Abbotsford Olympians Swim Club has returned to the water.

Based out of the Matsqui Recreation Centre, the AOSC saw over 20 swimmers represent the club last season.

Highlights from last year included sending 10 swimmers to participate in the monthly novice meet in Langley and two swimmers qualifying for their regional times to participate in swim meets in the Lower Mainland.

“Our swimmers worked and fought hard in various aspects of training and competition,” stated AOSC head coach Zach Haw. “Swimmers and coaches continually find various ways to be better and we must also continue to work hard to be the best that we can be.”

AOSC invites anyone who is interested in swimming and loves water to join the club. The club offers a free two-week trial to anyone who is a new registering member. AOSC welcomes anyone who has some swimming background and is willing to learn swimming.

Programs run every Tuesday and Thursday, which includes Olympic Way (10 years old and under) from 4 to 5 p.m. and Stroke Improvement and Conditioning (11 years old and over) from 5 to 6:15 p.m.
