The Abbotsford Police Department seized an airsoft gun and multiple throwing knives after pulling over a suspicious vehicle overnight (Jan. 10/11).

APD stopped the vehicle near Simon Avenue and Trethewey Street. According to a police Facebook post on Thursday, the driver reached into the glovebox for insurance papers and the airsoft gun was seen by officers.

Police say the driver was found to have an outstanding driving prohibition notice and was issued a three-month driving prohibition.
