Abbotsford’s newest bottle depot opened on Friday (March 22).
McMillan Return-It Depot is located at #13-34100 South Fraser Way.
The depot is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week and accepts beverage containers, end-of-life electronics and has an express drop-off kiosk.
The opening of the new depot comes after a fire destroyed Moe’s Bottle Depot in downtown Abbotsford on Aug. 25, 2021.
This is the fifth Return-It Depot in Abbotsford. Other locations are Aberdeen Recycling Centre, Clearbrook Return-It Depot, Abbotsford Bottle Depot and Regional Recycling-Abbotsford.
