A female pedestrian was struck and killed along Highway 11 in Abbotsford on Saturday night (April 20).
Police say they were called to the 5300 block of the Abbotsford-Mission Highway at 11:31 p.m., where they found the pedestrian suffering serious and life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Abbotsford Police Department didn’t release details on any vehicles that might have been involved in the crash, but said it is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage from between 10 p.m. and midnight.
Investigators are working to identify the pedestrian.
