The snow already on the ground will get a little deeper today, as about 5 cm are predicted to fall and temperatures will continue to hover around the freezing mark.

Here’s today’s Environment Canada forecast:Today: Cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries this morning. Periods of snow beginning early this afternoon. Risk of freezing rain early this morning. Snowfall amount 5 cm. High zero.

Tonight: Snow with risk of freezing rain. Snowfall amount 10 cm. Temperature steady near zero.
