If you’ve ever watched a TV crime show or discussed investigative procedure with a police officer, you’ll likely know about “search warrants” and how they can be used to help solve a case.
Authority for search warrants must be sought from a judge and they are not readily issued without sufficient indication that approval will provide needed evidence leading to a charge.
A police officer cannot enter a home – or business – without authorization and obtain evidence that can be used in court: it will be considered inadmissible.
In Canada, privacy and the sanctity of our home is valued and no one can enter our residence – with the possible exception of child protection services – without permission.
Even email messages cannot be intercepted without an appropriate warrant.
Living a life that is transparent and consistent can be a challenge but it is not impossible.
The Bible speaks to this when it says, “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the Earth that he may strongly support those whose heart is completely his.”
And this: “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”
In other words, when we acknowledge God’s presence in our life we can begin to make the needed personal corrections in submission to him.
The Bible also says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Jesus, God’s only son – who was perfect – died on a cross, once and for all, so that you might be delivered from sin (all the bad things you’ve done).
Be encouraged! God’s love for you is very personal: he understands your temptations and weaknesses but he will also deliver you from them – if you trust in him through Christ.
Don’t spend another day feeling defeated and anxious. Why not call on him and confess your sins?
Now would be the perfect time to begin your brand new life feeling clean and fulfilled!
