Valley Festival Singers present A Star Still Shines concert

Partial proceeds of live-streamed event go to Abbotsford disaster relief

The Abbotsford-based Valley Festival Singers present a virtual concert, A Star Still Shines, with 10 per cent of the proceeds going to Abbotsford disaster relief.

The concert will be available to live-stream from now until Dec. 26.

The hour-long program, with professional audio recording and videography, features A Winter Day by Sarah Quartel and First Light by AmandaEve Slattery, along with well-known carols and the Hallelujah Chorus.

The choir is led by artistic director Joel Tranquilla with Betty Suderman on piano and special guest cellist, Ben Goheen.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and $45 for a family at aftontickets.com/VFS.
