Abbotsford’s Sweeney Singers hold their 35th annual Christmas benefit concert on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
In Dulci Jubilo begins at 7:30 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way.
This popular family singing group is an enthusiastic promoter of choral music, performing a wide range of styles and genres, including folk, jazz and classical.
The concert moves through 15th Century Tomas Victoria to Christmas folk tunes from Italy, Germany, Wales and Scotland and popular secular tunes from the 1940s to today.
The award-winning group has five recordings to their credit.
